PageR Enterprise (PageR) is a world leading software solution for network-wide server, device and event monitoring of multi-OS environments. PageR provides a central event console that can collect, filter and display status and event information for all server, TCP/IP, SNMP and other devices or issues on your local or worldwide network. Events, whether normal status updates or critical warnings, can be flagged to automatically and immediately trigger alert notifications to remote personnel via pagers, mobile phones, email and more. You can even have PageR run scripts and commands or launch applications automatically when events occur. Better still, PageR is easy to use and can typically be set up and monitoring within the first hour of use. This is especially true after users read the "Getting Started with PageR Enterprise" manual.
PageR is very unique in the range of events and servers that it can monitor, from the basic "Are you there?" network pings to complex computer room environment monitoring, server or power crash detections, web page monitoring, "deep" monitoring on legacy systems, and much more. On Windows NT/2K/XP/2K3 servers, any event written to an Event Log (i.e. System, Security, Application) can be used as a trigger for immediate, remote notification and corrective action. Mixed platform networks are fully supported by logging in directly to Novell NetWare, UNIX, OpenVMS, HP3000, RS6000, AS/400 and others. These systems can even pass alert notification responsibility to PageR for redistribution and automatic corrective action. "NO AGENTS ARE USED OR REQUIRED!"
PageR allows notification to individuals, groups, hierarchies, different people at different times and for different issues. Users can set up redundant methods of notification, scheduled checking, dependencies and blackout periods. And, if users need to connect to PageR remotely, like while visiting a remote work facility or from home, they can use the PageR web browser interface to make system checks or configuration changes from anywhere in the world via the internet!
Data Center Edition monitors any and all systems worldwide on your network, that means ALL the Windows NT/2K/XP/2K3 servers, systems, event logs, files, disks, devices and objects on the network, and includes monitoring Novell NetWare Servers, network-wide IP Ping capability and SNMP Traps like Enterprise Edition. Unlimited Object License: Monitored Objects are items or issues that you set up within PageR to watch or monitor (i.e. servers, devices, logfiles, services, web pages, systems, performance counters, ports, SNMP devices, files, more). Some monitored objects allow monitoring of an unlimited number of similar or related items/issues, while others like a 'ping' monitored object allow the monitoring of just one item. Users can select what to monitor and change as their needs change.

'Maintenance Support & Update Service' (MSUS) for AVTECH's IT & facilities environment monitoring products is an important type of 'IT & facilities insurance'. If a problem arises, help is within easy and immediate access. This enables your organization to keep the servers, network and entire operation available and running for everyone's benefit. It also allows managers to sleep well at night, comfortable knowing that Room Alert, TemPageR, Device ManageR and PageR Enterprise are on the job 24 hours a day!
During the 'Maintenance Support & Update Service' (MSUS) period, AVTECH will make available to current customers without charge, copies of any appropriate firmware and software updates or enhancements as may be released. Firmware and software updates will be provided via website download (approximately 4-6 times per year) and via CD (normally 1-2 times each year). Updates shall include release notes or revised documentation when it is or may be appropriate. In addition, AVTECH will provide technical support as may be required, new software keys, current product firmware, notice of new products and services, periodic newsletters or update communications and various special offers, which may provide benefit to the licensed customer. Room Alert and TemPageR hardware customers will enjoy full hardware replacement service on the ID box in case it should fail to function properly during normal use (i.e. without tamper or damage). This valuable service insures that current firmware and software versions for products, documentation, as well as technical support and fully functioning hardware, are available to licensed customers during the MSUS period.
MSUS is an annual service that is included for free during the first year when any AVTECH monitoring product is purchased. MSUS is optionally extendable thereafter on an annual basis, paid for in advance. AVTECH automatically sends out renewal notices sixty (60) days prior to expiration of MSUS for easy renewal or cancellation. Failure to renew this service in advance will lead to a loss of the above benefits. Reinstatement after MSUS has expired will incur an additional service fee for reinstatement. Support for sensors is complimentary and based upon current MSUS for the primary Room Alert or TemPageR monitoring hardware being covered. For additional information, please contact AVTECH directly.
