Manual Page - This is a term used to define the user interactive process of sending a page to a PageR defined contact via their mobile phone, pager or PDA. PageR has a Manual PageR screen available from the Activity Log and Web Status screens. User’s can also forward email to PageR and have it forwarded as a page to contacts.

MAPI - MAPI is a mail protocol used by Microsoft Messaging. PageR utilizes the MAPI mail protocol when selected by users to do so.

Message Server - A hardware product (previously available from AVTECH) that attaches to a Windows NT/2000 system and supports intelligent alphanumeric paging, system down detection and environmental monitoring.
