Task -
A Task object is a Monitored Object that executes a script (VBScript or JScript), NT command file or program when scanned. The Task object can perform a task on a recurring basis or can be used to create user defined monitored objects. Many attributes and functions are exposed to scripts via the Script Global object (SG) visible in a script. A task can also be executed by an Alarm object allowing the user to initiate automatic corrective action. Tasks have schedules that further constrain when a task is run, giving fine control over when and how often a task is executed.
TemPageR -
TemPageR (with a capital P and R, pronounced "tem-pager") is a computer room environment monitoring device designed specifically to provide dynamic monitoring of temperature in up to four lcations as far as 900 feet apart. TemPageR has one internal sensor and three external sensors. The TemPageR software uses a browser interface to display current, high and low temperatures, as well as log and graph temperature data. Users can monitor unlimited temperature thresholds, export temperature data to Microsoft Excel in one click, and alert individuals or groups by email. AVTECH Software manufactures TemPageR and it is available from AVTECH Software directly or through resellers. TemPageR is a trademark owned exclusively by AVTECH Software with all rights reserved.
Trace (Trace File) -
The Trace function within PageR enables an indepth logging feature for PageR to track all of its set up and performance. This function is most beneficial for debugging set up by AVTECH technical support to resolve issues.
Tray Icon -
PageR creates an icon in the task bar tray that closely resembles the AVTECH corporate logo. When the main window is hidden or minimized, the cursor can be placed over this icon to display a simple status report. Right click the icon for more detailed status information and options. Left click the icon to display the main window.
