How To Access A Room Alert Monitor’s Settings Pages

For instructions to sign into the Settings page of your Room Alert Monitor’s web interface, select your Room Alert model from the tabs below.

'S' models: Room Alert 32S, 12S & 3S'E' models: Room Alert 32E, 12E, 4E & 3ERoom Alert 3W

Opening the Settings pages of your Room Alert S model requires 3 steps:

1. First, select Settings in the navigation bar to the left.

2. Next, enter your credentials in the Username and Password fields.

  • If you set custom credentials
    • Enter your username and password.
  • If you didn’t…
    • Enter these default credentials:
      • Username: admin
      • Password: password

3. Select Click Here To Access Settings.

Opening the Settings pages of your Room Alert 32E, 12E, 4E or 3E requires 3 steps:

1. First, select Settings in the navigation bar to the left.

2. Next, select Click Here to Access Settings at the bottom of the screen.

3. Then, when the Sign in prompt appears:

  • If you’ve previously saved custom credentials on your Settings pages, enter them and log in.
  • If you haven’t saved custom credentials, leave the Username and Password fields blank and select Sign in or OK.

There is no default username or password for “E” model Room Alert Monitors. For more information, see the tabs below.

How to log in with no credentials using the Safari browser

If you have no log in credentials set on your Room Alert “E” model and you are using Safari, follow these steps:

  1. Put your cursor in Username and then hit the space bar on your keyboard once to insert a blank space.
  2. Leave Password completely blank.
  3. Then select OK or Sign in.
Room Alert 32E, 12E and 3E can have only a password

You may add only a password to the Settings pages of Room Alert models 32E, 12E and 3E. There is no option to add a username.

The Sign in popup will always ask for both a username and password anyway, even if you have no password configured. At the Sign in prompt:

If you set a password

  • Enter it and leave Username blank.
  • Then select OK or Sign in.

If you didn’t

  • Leave both fields blank.
  • Then select OK or Sign in.
Room Alert 4E can have a username and/or password

You may add the following credentials to the Settings pages of your Room Alert 4E.

  • A username and password
  • Just a username
  • Just a password

The Sign in popup will always ask for both, even if you have just one or none at all added. At the Sign in prompt:

If you’ve set both

  • Fill in both Username and Password.
  • Then select OK or Sign in.

If you’ve set just one

  • Enter it and leave the other field blank.
  • Then select OK or Sign in.

If you’ve set none

  • Leave Username and Password blank.
  • Then select OK or Sign in.

The Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi’s web interface is entirely password-protected (including its Status page). To open the device’s web interface:

1. Type its IP address directly into your web browser.

2. When the Sign in prompt appears:

  • In Username, enter admin.
    • You may not change the username for your Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi. The username is always “admin.”
  • If you saved a custom password, enter it in the Password field. Otherwise, enter the default PASSWORD.

3. Then select OK or Sign in.

4. From here, you can view the Status page, or click the appropriate tabs to view the Device Settings or Alert Options.

  • Windows 7 & 8
    Start--> All Programs--> Accessories--> Command Prompt
  • Windows 10
    Start--> All Apps--> Windows System--> Command Prompt

To run Windows Command Prompt as an administrator:

  • Windows 7 & 8
    Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
  • Windows 10
    Right-click on Command Prompt, select More and then select Run as administrator.

If you are using this client, you should configure the general SNMPv3 Credentials, but leave the Read / Write SNMPv3 Credentials section blank.

Room Alert Manager - Compatible Devices

The latest version of Room Alert Manager supports only the devices below.

It does not support any legacy Room Alert or TemPageR models.
