Removing the device and re-registering it will not resolve the issue.<\/strong><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-row\">\n<div class=\"su-column su-column-size-1-2\"><div class=\"su-column-inner su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\nIf you have a Room Alert Monitor that will no longer be used, you may move it from the <em>Inventory<\/em> list in your Room Alert Account to the <em>Archived<\/em> list. Once the device has been archived, you can still access its historical data.<\/p>\n<p>If you would like to permanently delete a device and all of its logged data, you may delete it from the <em>Archived<\/em> list. In the <em>Archived<\/em> list, you may view and download historical data that was collected before the device was archived. Going forward, no new data for this device will be stored under the <em>Archived<\/em> list. Any existing alerts for this device will also be automatically deleted.<\/p>\n<p>To archive a device:<\/p>\n<p>1. Log in to your account at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-slimstat=\"5\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>In order to archive a device, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the \u201cTypes of user roles\u201d section of our FAQ, <a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/23734\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2. In <em>Inventory<\/em>, you\u2019ll see a list of the Room Alert Monitors registered to your account.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>&#8211; You may see suspended devices listed in your Inventory. Please note that the Room Alert Account still logs data from suspended devices; the data is simply not accessible while the device is suspended.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>4. Locate the device that you wish to archive.<\/p>\n<p>5. Once this is done, the device will no longer appear in your <em>Archived<\/em> list, and you will no longer have access to the data that was being stored under the <em>Archived<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n<p>To delete a device:<\/p>\n<p>1. The listing under the <em>Archived<\/em> tab includes logged data from before the initial transfer.
