For instructions, please see&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/67\/how-to-set-up-email-in-device-manager-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Set Up Email In Device ManageR (VIDEO)<\/a>. Set up your Contacts in&nbsp;<strong>Alerts\/Tasks<\/strong>&#8211;&gt;<strong>Contacts<\/strong>. For instructions, please see&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/101\/how-to-create-and-edit-contacts-in-device-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Create And Edit Contacts In Device ManageR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>3. Set up a &#8216;Send Email Report to Configured Contact&#8217; Action in&nbsp;<strong>Alerts\/Tasks<\/strong>&#8211;&gt;<strong>Actions<\/strong>. For instructions, please see&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/154\/how-to-configure-an-action-in-device-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Configure An Action In Device ManageR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">A. In the example below, we named our action \u201cSend Report To Network Admin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">B. For Action Type, select <strong>Send Email Report To Configured Contact<\/strong> from the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">C. Options unique to the Report Generator Plugin will appear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">D. Both the <em>Email Subject<\/em> and <em>Email Body<\/em> fields can be edited using the keywords provided by the Report Generator Plugin. To edit, place your cursor in the field at the spot you want to insert the keyword. The <strong>Click To Insert A Keyword <\/strong>button will appear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Click-to-insert-a-KeyWord.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2373\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Click-to-insert-a-KeyWord.png\" alt=\"Click to insert a KeyWord\" width=\"400\" height=\"425\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Click-to-insert-a-KeyWord.png 520w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Click-to-insert-a-KeyWord-283x300.png 283w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">F. Select <strong>Click To Insert A Keyword<\/strong> to open the <em>Insert Keyword<\/em> window.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">G. In the <em>Insert Keyword<\/em> window, select the appropriate keyword.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; There are two tabs of keywords in this window. The <em>Alerting<\/em> keywords can only be used when configuring an Alert. The <em>Reporting<\/em> keywords can be used when configuring Alerts or Reports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; If you are creating a Report Generator Action that will be used with the Scheduled Tasks, only select keywords from the Reporting tab.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/ReportingKeywords.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-9360\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/ReportingKeywords.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/ReportingKeywords.png 677w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/ReportingKeywords-300x247.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. Configure a schedule in <strong>Alerts\/Tasks<\/strong>&#8211;&gt; <strong>Optional<\/strong> <strong>Schedules. <\/strong>For instructions, please see <a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/89\/how-to-configure-schedules-in-device-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How To Configure Schedules in Device ManageR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; In this example, we named our schedule \u201cSunday \u2013 Saturday 12:00 PM\u201d and set it to every day at noon.<\/p>\n<p>5. Configure a scheduled task in <strong>Alerts\/Tasks<\/strong>&#8211;&gt; <strong>Scheduled Tasks. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">A.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Select <strong>Add<\/strong> to open the <em>Add New Scheduled Task<\/em> window.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">B. Name your Scheduled Task.&nbsp;In this example, we named our schedule \u201cDaily Reports at Noon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">C. Select the Schedule you created for this Task.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">D. Select the Action you configured in Step 3 from the drop down menu in the <em>Task Action<\/em> box.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">F. Set the <em>Perform the Action<\/em> setting to \u201cA maximum of 1 time,\u201d by selecting the radio button beside the option.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">G.
