Before you can configure your external Light Tower or Relay Switch to respond to alert conditions, you must enable it in your Room Alert Monitor. Your external Light Tower or Relay Switch will not appear in the Room Alert web interface, your RoomAlert.com account or the Room Alert Manager software unless you enable it first.<\/p>\n

Relay Switch<\/h4>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

To enable your Light Tower or Relay Switch, follow these steps:<\/h4>\n

1. Open your Room Alert Monitor\u2019s web interface by typing the IP address of the unit directly into the address bar of your web browser.<\/p>\n

2. Select the Settings<\/strong> tab from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n

3. Then select Alarms<\/strong> in the Settings menu.<\/p>\n

4. In LTA Connected<\/em>, select your Light Tower type or Relay Switch from the drop-down menu. In our example, we\u2019re choosing the\u00a0Red\/Yellow\/Green w\/ Audio<\/strong> Light Tower.<\/p>\n

5. In LTA Label<\/em>, you may leave the default or enter a name for your Light Tower or Relay Switch. In our example, we\u2019re leaving the default.<\/p>\n

6. Select Save Settings<\/strong> at the top or bottom of the page. Your Room Alert will reboot with your changes saved.<\/p>\n
