If your organization’s Room Alert Account has been upgraded to the Professional level or higher, you may add any additional sensor readings to an email or text message alert notification.<\/p>\n

For example, if you have an alert set up to notify you if it gets too hot in your data center, you can also choose to display:<\/p>\n

– other nearby temperature and humidity readings
\n– the active\/inactive power state for the AC unit
\n– the open\/closed state for the data center door<\/p>\n

Follow these steps to add additional sensor readings to your alert notifications:<\/p>\n

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In order to edit parts of an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the \u201cTypes of user roles\u201d section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Select Alerts<\/strong> from the navigation bar to the left.

\n3. In your Alert List<\/em> tab, you’ll see a list of all of your configured alerts. Click on an alert to open its interface.

4. Then click Edit<\/strong> <\/strong>in the upper right corner of the alert interface.

5.  In the Edit Alert <\/em>window, scroll down to the Alert Details<\/em> section. Click the pencil icon to edit this section.

6. Then click the button to + Add Sensor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

7. Use the dropdown menus to choose your sensor, and then click + Add Sensor<\/strong>.

9. Add as many device sensor pairs as you’d like.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

10. When you’re done, select Apply<\/strong>.
