You may install or update the Device Discovery utility by following these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Download the Device Discovery installer from your account at RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

– This FAQ shows you how: How to Download Firmware and Software from Your RoomAlert.com Account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2. Once the download completes, click on the AVTECHDiscovery-x.x.x-windows-installer.exe<\/em> file to start the installer.<\/p>\n

– You must run the installer as an administrator in order for it to properly\u00a0install.<\/p>\n

– Please note that administrator rights are also required to run the utility.<\/p>\n

3. When the User Account Control<\/em> dialog box appears, select Yes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Then follow the on-screen prompts, which will guide you through the installation.<\/p>\n
