2. Select the Settings<\/strong> tab from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n 3. Then select Alarms<\/strong> in the Settings menu.<\/p>\n 4. In LTA Connected<\/em>, select Relay<\/strong>\u00a0from the drop-down menu.<\/p>\n 5. In LTA Label<\/em>, you may leave the default or enter a name for your Relay. In our example, we\u2019re\u00a0calling it ‘Relay Switch 1.’<\/p>\n 6.\u00a0Select Save Settings<\/strong> at the top or bottom of the page. Your Room Alert will reboot with your changes saved.<\/p>\n Then, to set up\u00a0Relay\u00a0actions in Device ManageR, follow the steps below.\u00a0We\u2019re going to set up two\u00a0actions in our example: one to turn Relay 1 on and another to turn it off.<\/p>\n 1. Open Device ManageR in your web browser. You may open it by entering ‘localhost:8080’ or ‘<IP address of host system>:8080’ in your browser’s address bar.<\/p>\n 2. Select Alerts \/ Tasks<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n 3. In the Alerts \/ Tasks<\/em> menu, select Actions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n 4. Select Add<\/strong> to add your first action.<\/p>\n 5.\u00a0In the Add New Action<\/em> window:<\/p>\n \u2013\u00a0In Name<\/em>, enter a name for the action. In our example, we\u2019ve called the action \u2018Relay Switch – Relay 1 On.\u2019<\/p>\n \u2013 (Optional) In Description<\/em>, you may enter any notes you feel would be helpful to explain the action.<\/p>\n \u2013\u00a0In Action Type<\/em>, select the action you wish to execute from the drop-down list. Once you select the action type, options unique to that action will appear. In this example, we\u2019re choosing Toggle Signal Tower or Relay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u2013 In Device<\/em>, choose your Room Alert.<\/p>\n \u2013 In Toggle the<\/em>, choose the feature you wish to toggle. In our example, we\u2019re choosing\u00a0LTA 1 – Relay 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u2013 Then choose On<\/strong> or Off<\/strong>. For our first action, we\u2019re choosing On<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u2013 In If not successful, retry this Action<\/em>, you may leave the default, 0, or enter a higher number.<\/p>\n \u2013 (Optional) If you wish, you may associate a schedule with this action by selecting Optional Schedule<\/strong> and choosing a schedule from the drop-down list. (If you attach a schedule to the action, it can be performed only during the hours you\u2019ve set up in the Optional Schedule.)<\/p>\n \u2013 Then select Save<\/strong> to save the action.<\/p>\n Repeat this process to add the toggle actions you require.
