In order for the <em>Settings<\/em> tab to open, our program runs certain commands and pages in the background which can sometimes conflict with some antivirus programs or Internet Security Server&#8217;s configured settings.<\/p>\n<p>You can attempt to check these pages by trying the following two addresses:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">http:\/\/&lt;IP address of the unit&gt;\/secure\/setuprec.xml<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">http:\/\/&lt;IP address of the unit&gt;\/secure\/unitinfo.xml<\/p>\n<p>If the pages load, you&#8217;ll see data in XML format as shown below.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/setuprec.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-6517\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/setuprec.jpg\" alt=\"setuprec\" width=\"600\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/setuprec.jpg 761w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/setuprec-300x173.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you would like Technical Support staff&#8217;s assistance in diagnosing your issue, you may save the setuprec.xml and unitinfo.xml with the following steps:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Right-click on the page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Select <strong>View Source<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Copy all the text in the page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Paste it into a .txt file.<\/p>\n<p>You can then send the .txt files to us at Support@AVTECH.com.<\/p>\n<p>If these pages do not load, there is most likely an antivirus, proxy server, or security application that is blocking these settings pages from loading properly. Please check for any of these security measures on your network and configure them to allow background XML HTTP requests from the monitor&#8217;s IP address.<\/p>\n<p>If you are still having difficulty, please follow the steps below attempting to access the &#8216;Settings&#8217; screen after completing each step.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Completely close the web browser you are using and reload.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Recycle the power on the monitor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Update the firmware on the monitor.
