You may then access historical data that was collected before the device was archived. Going forward, no new data for this device will be collected while it remains archived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can permanently* delete a device, if you wish, after it has been archived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* The device can be re-discovered in Room Alert Manager at a later point if desired.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To archive a device in Room Alert Manager, follow these steps:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol id=\"block-74349ddf-edf2-4c12-9c0a-b18769097507\"><li>Open Room Alert Manager in your web browser.<ul><li>You may open it by entering \u2018localhost:9393\u2019 or \u2018&lt;IP address of host system>:9393\u2019 in your browser\u2019s address bar. For more information, please see our FAQ,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/19834\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How to Open Room Alert Manager\u2019s Web Interface<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>In order to archive a device in Room Alert Manager, you must log in as an admin-level user.<ul><li>For more information, please see the \u201cTypes of user roles\u201d section of our FAQ,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/20112\/how-to-configure-users-in-room-alert-manager\/#types\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How To Configure Users In Room Alert Manager<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>In Room Alert Manager&#8217;s interface, navigate to <em>Devices<\/em> &#8211;> <em>Room Alert Monitors<\/em>.
