On the left is the &#8216;L&#8217; (link) LED; on the right is the &#8216;S&#8217; (status) LED.<\/p>\n<p>When the unit is not connected to power, they are unlit, as shown below:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/RA3W_LEDs_Both_Unlit.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2142\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/RA3W_LEDs_Both_Unlit.png\" alt=\"RA3W_LEDs_Both_Unlit\" width=\"220\" height=\"138\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once the unit is powered on, you can tell the state the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi is in by looking at these 2 LEDs.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><a href=\"#first_powered_on\">Unit First Powered On<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"#connected_to_default_ip\">Unit Connected To Default IP Address (Soft AP)<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"#connected_to_wireless_network\">Unit Connected To Your Wireless Network<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"first_powered_on\" id=\"first_powered_on\"><\/a><\/strong>Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi &#8211; Unit First Powered On<\/h3>\n<p>When you first power on the unit, the right S LED blinks once quickly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/RA3W_LEDs_S_Blink_Once.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2144\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/RA3W_LEDs_S_Blink_Once.png\" alt=\"RA3W_LEDs_S_Blink_Once\" width=\"220\" height=\"140\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"connected_to_default_ip\" id=\"connected_to_default_ip\"><\/a><\/strong>Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi &#8211; Unit Connected To Default IP (192.168.0.1)<\/h3>\n<p>When the unit is connected only to the default IP address of 192.168.0.1 (the &#8216;soft AP&#8217;), the LEDs are once again unlit.<\/p>\n<p>You will see the LEDs in this state when you are first setting up the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi before it has connected to your wireless network.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/RA3W_LEDs_Both_Unlit.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2142\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/RA3W_LEDs_Both_Unlit.png\" alt=\"RA3W_LEDs_Both_Unlit\" width=\"220\" height=\"138\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"connected_to_wireless_network\" id=\"connected_to_wireless_network\"><\/a><\/strong>Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi &#8211; Unit Connected To Your Wireless Network<\/h3>\n<p>Once the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi has connected to your wireless network, the left L LED lights up solidly.
