You can view a full list in our FAQ, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/15828\/trigger-push-roomalert-com-frequently-default-intervals\/\" target=\"_blank\">What Triggers A Push To RoomAlert.com<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n<h3>&#8216;Alarm On&#8217; Push To RoomAlert.com<\/h3>\n<p>You may also do additional configuration on the native web interface of the Room Alert Monitor to force it to push more often than the default methods. Setting up &#8216;Alarm On&#8217; thresholds in your Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s web interface causes the unit to push when sensors:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Enter the alarm state.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Clear that alarm state.<\/p>\n<h3>Configuring &#8216;Alarm On&#8217; Thresholds In The Room Alert Monitor<\/h3>\n<p>To configure thresholds on the native web interface of your Room Alert Monitor, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1. Open your Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s web interface.<\/h4>\n<p>You may open your Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s web interface from your Room Alert Account:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Log in to your account at <a href=\"https:\/\/roomalert.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Select <strong>Devices<\/strong> from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Your Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s native web interface will open in a new window.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Select&nbsp;<strong>Settings<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; Then select <strong>Sensors<\/strong> from the options that appear below <em>Settings<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>&nbsp; &nbsp;On the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi, navigate to the <strong>Alarm Options<\/strong> &#8211;&gt; <strong>Sensors<\/strong> page.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-Sensors.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2527\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-Sensors.png\" alt=\"Navigation Bar -- Settings--Sensors\" width=\"150\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-Sensors.png 251w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-Sensors-173x300.png 173w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Step 2. Add your first threshold.<\/h4>\n<p>To add a threshold, follow these steps. (For our first threshold, we&#8217;re going to make only one change: a high temperature threshold for Sensor 1.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1. Locate your sensor&#8217;s interface. In this case, we are working with Sensor 1, which has a Digital Temperature &amp; Humidity Sensor connected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. In the <em>Alarm On<\/em> section of the sensor&#8217;s interface, enter a value (or make a selection, depending on the sensor). In this case, we&#8217;re entering &#8217;80&#8217; in the Temperature <em>High<\/em> field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; This means that Sensor 1&nbsp;will enter an alert state when the temperature rises above 80 F.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\">&#8211; It will clear the alert state when the temperature falls below 80 F.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 90px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10129\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds1.png 1241w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds1-300x120.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds1-768x308.png 768w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds1-1024x411.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px; text-align: left;\">3. Select <strong>Save Settings<\/strong> at the top or bottom of the screen. The Room Alert Monitor will reboot with the new settings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Save-Settings-button.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2605\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Save-Settings-button.png\" alt=\"Save Settings button\" width=\"125\" height=\"49\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In our example, this Room Alert Monitor will now push to the Room Alert Account under all of the default circumstances, plus when Sensor 1&nbsp;alarms and clears on the newly-configured threshold.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 3. Add more thresholds.<\/h4>\n<p>Now we&#8217;ll add thresholds for all of the other &#8216;Alarm On&#8217; Highs and Lows by going through the same steps for each sensor:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10130\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds2.png 1241w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds2-300x120.png 300w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds2-768x308.png 768w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds2-1024x411.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Notice that in addition to the sensor thresholds, there is the additional option to <em>Trigger Alarm If Sensor Is Disconnected?<\/em> (This applies only to external digital sensors.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10133\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds3.png 516w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/RAthrehsolds3-300x140.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With these settings, this Room Alert Monitor will push under of the default circumstances, plus:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">When these sensors alert and clear:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Internal Sensor Temperature High threshold (above 75, alert; below 75, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Internal Sensor on the Temperature Low threshold (below 55, alert; above 55, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Internal Sensor on the Humidity High (above 45, alert; below 45, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Internal Sensor on the Humidity Low (below 35, alert; above 35, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Sensor 1 on the Temperature High threshold (above 80, alert; below 80, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Sensor 1 on the Temperature Low threshold (below 60, alert; above 60, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Sensor 1 on the Humidity High (above 40, alert; below 40, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; Sensor 1 on the Humidity Low (below 30, alert; above 30, clear)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">And when Sensor 1&nbsp;is physically disconnected and reconnected.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see, by setting up &#8216;Alarm On&#8217; thresholds in your Room Alert Monitor, you can increase the pushes from your device to your Room Alert Account significantly.<\/p>\n<h3>If you already have a Room Alert Monitor with existing &#8216;Alarm On&#8217; thresholds<\/h3>\n<p>If you already own a Room Alert Monitor with existing alarm thresholds configured, you don&#8217;t need to change them; the device will automatically push to your Room Alert Account when the monitor goes into and clears those alarm states.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Room Alert Monitors with push to RoomAlert.com enabled automatically update your Room Alert account with sensor data at defined intervals.
