If you are a reseller who has sold a Room Alert monitor from your stock to a customer, or if your organization has multiple locations, you may receive requests to transfer Room Alert Monitors from your Room Alert Account into another account. You may approve or deny these requests through your Room Alert Account in your Devices<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n

To approve (or deny) a device transfer request, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n

1. Log into your account at RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In order to approve or deny a device transfer, you must log in as an Administrator or Operator. For more information, please see the \u201cTypes of user roles\u201d section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Select Devices<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left of the screen. You\u2019ll see the list of Room Alert Monitors associated with your account in your Inventory<\/em> tab.<\/p>\n

3. If you’ve received a request to transfer a device, you’ll have a Transfers<\/em> tab next to the Inventory<\/em> tab. <\/em>Select the Transfers<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n

4. In the Transfers<\/em> page, a list appears of Room Alert Monitor transfer requests you’ve received. This list includes the names of the requesting organizations and buttons allowing you to approve or deny each request.<\/p>\n

5. To approve the request, select Approve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

– The Room Alert monitor will be transferred into the requesting organization’s Inventory<\/em> tab, and the requesting organization will receive a confirmation email.<\/p>\n

– Now no longer assigned to you, the Room Alert Monitor no longer appears in your Inventory<\/em> tab, but rather in your Archived<\/em> tab. <\/em>This tab lists the start and end date that the device was assigned to you. Although you will not have access to any new data from the device, any old data that accumulated while it was assigned to you remains in your account. Devices that appear in your Archived<\/em> tab do not count against your account device limit.<\/p>\n
