To view your firmware version in your Room Alert Account, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Log in to your account at <a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Devices<\/strong> from the navigation bar to the left.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;ll see the <em>Inventory<\/em> tab, where you may find the version for each of your devices in the\u00a0<em>Firmware Version<\/em> column.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may also select a device from the <em>Inventory<\/em> list to view the firmware version on the left side of the\u00a0<em>Device Details<\/em> page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"in_ra_manager\" id=\"in_ra_manager\"><\/a>In Room Alert Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To view your firmware version in Room Alert Manager, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Open Room Alert Manager in your web browser. You may open it by entering \u2018localhost:9393\u2019 or \u2018&lt;IP address of host system>:9393\u2019 in your browser\u2019s address bar. Each list entry includes a Firmware Version.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You may also select a unit from the list to see the firmware version in its <em>Device Details<\/em> page.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"in_ra_discovery\" id=\"in_ra_discovery\"><\/a>In the Room Alert Discovery utility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To view your firmware version in Room Alert Manager, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>First open the Room Alert Discovery utility by navigating to\u00a0<strong>Start\u2192 AVTECH Room Alert Discovery<\/strong>\u00a0in Windows.\n<ul>\n<li>Alternatively, you may navigate to Room Alert Discovery\u2019s Installation Directory (C:\\Program Files\\AVTECH Room Alert Discovery by default) and double-click\u00a0<em>avtech-room-alert-discovery.exe<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Find Devices<\/strong> to bring up a list of discovered devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You&#8217;ll see the firmware version listed in the <em>Firmware <\/em>column.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"in_the_device_discovery_utility\" id=\"in_the_device_discovery_utility\"><\/a>In the Device Discovery utility<\/strong> (Legacy)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To view your firmware version in Device Discovery, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol>\n<li>Open AVTECH Device Discovery.\u00a0You may find it in your Windows system typically through the default path, C:\\Program Files\\AVTECH Device Discovery Utility or C:\\Program Files (x86)\\AVTECH Device Discovery Utility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>Search<\/strong> to bring up a list of discovered devices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll see the firmware version of all units in the fourth column under <em>Version<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-background\" style=\"background-color:#d3d3d3;color:#d3d3d3\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>If your unit is not running the most current firmware version, you can update the firmware by following these instructions:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/164\/update-firmware-room-alert-monitors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How To Update Firmware On AVTECH Devices<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Using an older version of the Room Alert Monitor web interface?\u00a0Please click here for the appropriate FAQ.
