By default, the Room Alert Monitor sends values to your SNMP monitoring application in 4-digit\u00a0format: 78.55\u00b0 F, for example, appears as 7855 in your SNMP application.<\/p>\n<p>However, you may configure your Room Alert Monitor to send SNMP values in\u00a02-digit format, if you prefer. Note that in 2-digit format, your\u00a0values are truncated, not rounded to the nearest number: in this example, 78.55\u00b0 F would appear as 78 in your SNMP application.<\/p>\n<h4>To\u00a0configure your Room Alert Monitor to send SNMP values in\u00a02-digit format, please follow the instructions below:<\/h4>\n<p>1. Open your Room Alert Monitor\u2019s web interface. You may open the interface using Device Discovery, Device ManageR, or your account at <a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>. You may also type the IP address of the unit directly into the address bar of your web browser.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0Select<strong> Settings<\/strong> in the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0Then select <strong>SNMP<\/strong>\u00a0from the options below <em>Settings<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-SNMP.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-2530\" src=\"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-SNMP-173x300.png\" alt=\"Navigation Bar -- Settings--SNMP\" width=\"150\" height=\"260\" srcset=\"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-SNMP-173x300.png 173w, https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Navigation-Bar-Settings-SNMP.png 251w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>4. Select <strong>Save Settings<\/strong> at the top or bottom of the page.
