There are two types of temperature scale settings in your Room Alert Account:<\/p>\n

– the account temperature scale, which is reflected throughout the account<\/p>\n

– each individual alert’s temperature scale, which is reflected in the alert’s interface and notifications<\/span><\/p>\n

If you edit your account temperature scale, you’ll also need to edit each existing alert’s temperature scale.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Edit Your Room Alert Account Temperature Scale<\/h3>\n

Your Room Alert Account uses the temperature scale configured in your <\/i>account, not the temperature scale set on your Room Alert Monitor’s local web interface. Note that each of your organization’s assigned users will need to configure their temperature scale individually.<\/span><\/p>\n

Please follow these steps to edit your account temperature scale:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2. Select the user icon at the top right of the page.<\/p>\n

3. Then select Profile Settings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. Here, you’ll find the Temperature Scale<\/em><\/span> <\/span>drop-down menu.<\/p>\n

5. Choose your scale<\/span> and select Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. You’ll now see the new temperature scale reflected in the following places:<\/span><\/p>\n

– your Dashboard Report<\/span><\/p>\n

– your Devices page, including CSV exports<\/span><\/p>\n

– your main Alert History list<\/span><\/p>\n

– your Reporting page, including CSV & PDF exports<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a>Edit Your Alert Temperature Scale<\/h3>\n

Each alert has its own temperature scale, which you’re prompted to select when you first create the alert.<\/span> If you change your account temperature scale, it will not affect the temperature scale of your existing alerts. You’ll need to edit these individually.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Please follow these steps to edit an alert temperature scale:<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In order to edit an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the \u201cTypes of user roles\u201d section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

2. Select Alerts<\/strong> from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n

3. Here, you\u2019ll see a list of all of your configured alerts.<\/p>\n

4. Click on the alert you wish to edit.<\/p>\n

5. In the alert interface, select Change<\/strong> in the upper right of the screen.<\/p>\n

6. Here, you’ll find the Temperature Scale<\/em> drop-down menu.<\/p>\n

7. Choose your scale and edit the temperature threshold value accordingly.<\/span><\/p>\n

8. Then select Save Changes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

9.  If you refresh the page, you’ll see the new timezone reflected in the following places:<\/span><\/p>\n

– the alert interface in your Alerts<\/em> page<\/span><\/p>\n

– bookmarked \/ triggered alerts in your Dashboard<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
