{"id":9065,"date":"2017-08-10T15:42:48","date_gmt":"2017-08-10T19:42:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/?p=9065"},"modified":"2025-01-06T13:00:50","modified_gmt":"2025-01-06T18:00:50","slug":"set-temperature-scale-roomalert-com-account","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/avtech.com\/articles\/9065\/set-temperature-scale-roomalert-com-account\/","title":{"rendered":"How To Set Your Temperature Scale In Your RoomAlert.com Account"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are two types of temperature scale settings in your Room Alert Account:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; the account temperature scale, which is reflected throughout the account<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8211; each individual alert&#8217;s temperature scale, <span style=\"color: #333333;\">which is reflected in the alert&#8217;s&nbsp;interface and notifications<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you edit your account temperature scale, you&#8217;ll also need to edit each existing alert&#8217;s temperature scale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#account_temperature_scale\">Edit your Room Alert Account temperature scale<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#alert_temperature_scale\">Edit your alert temperature scale<\/a><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h3><a class=\"wpsal-anchor\" name=\"account_temperature_scale\" id=\"account_temperature_scale\"><\/a>Edit Your Room Alert Account Temperature Scale<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Your Room Alert Account uses the temperature scale configured in your<i>&nbsp;<\/i>account, not the temperature scale set on your Room Alert Monitor&#8217;s local web interface.&nbsp;Note that each of your organization&#8217;s assigned users will need to configure their temperature scale individually.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Please follow these steps to edit your account temperature scale:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1.&nbsp;Log in to your account at <a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">2. Select the user icon at the top right&nbsp;of the page.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. You&#8217;ll need to edit these individually.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please follow these steps to edit an aler<span style=\"color: #333333;\">t temperature scale:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1.&nbsp;Log in to your account at <a href=\"http:\/\/roomalert.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">RoomAlert.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;\"><em>In order to edit an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. Select <strong>Alerts<\/strong> from the navigation bar to the left.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">3. Here, you\u2019ll see a list of all of your configured alerts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4.
