Knowledge Base / Frequently Asked Questions / Room Alert Account (RoomAlert.com)
If your organization’s Room Alert Account has been upgraded to the Professional level or higher, you can schedule “Quiet Times” for your actions. Quiet times silence alert notifications during specific days or times.
For example, if you only want to be notified of an alert outside of business hours, you can set quiet times from approximately 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.
You can manage all of your saved Quiet Time Schedules from the Actions tab. Here, you can check which schedules are currently being used in alerts, create new schedules, or make changes to existing schedules.
Schedules can be re-used across multiple alerts; editing a schedule will apply changes to all linked alerts.
Follow these instructions to open your alert’s interface and apply Quiet Time Schedules to alert actions
1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com.
In order to edit parts of an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the “Types of user roles” section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account.
2. Select Alerts from the navigation bar to the left.

3. In your Alert List tab, you’ll see a list of all of your configured alerts. Click on an alert to open its interface.

In our example, if the alert is triggered during business hours — let’s say Thursday at 2:00 PM — we will not receive a notification.
– The alert will still trigger and will be listed in the Alert History, but the action won’t send.
– Please note that quiet times silence “triggered,'” “ongoing” and “clear” notifications.
