How To Stop, Start And Restart The Link Service

Room Alert Link runs as a local service on the Windows system it is installed on. By default, it’s configured to start automatically when the Windows system starts. To perform certain tasks, you may need to stop, start or restart the service.

STOP

Stopping Link ends the program and makes its web interface inaccessible.

START

Starting Link starts the program (after it has been stopped) and brings its web interface back online.

RESTART

Restarting Link immediately reboots the program and takes its web interface offline only momentarily.

Stop, Start Or Restart Link Using The Windows Services Tool

Open the Services tool in the Windows system that Link is installed on. You may find Services at the following path: Start–> Control Panel–> Administrative Tools–> Services.
Highlight ‘AVTECH Room Alert Link’ in the list of programs in the Name column by clicking on it once.
You may select Stop, Restart or Start the service on the left side of the window. (The option to ‘Start’ appears when the program’s status reads ‘Stopped.’)
