Note: The name of the Image Push application will be updated in a future release.
You may configure the following settings in the GoToMyDevices Image Push application on your compatible Axis camera:
– Maximum motion frames: the maximum number of images the camera pushes to your account at RoomAlert.com in response to one motion event.
– Motion enabled: enables or disables motion detection.
– Motion guard time: the number of seconds the camera waits after one motion event has begun before detecting the next one.
Below are these settings at the defaults:
To configure your GoToMyDevices Image Push settings, follow these steps:
1. Open your camera’s web interface. You may open it using AVTECH’s Device ManageR software, your Room Alert Account, Axis Camera Management software or Axis IP Utility. You may also type the unit’s IP address directly into your web browser’s address bar.
2. Select Setup at the top of the page.
3. Select Applications from the navigation bar to the left.
4. Then select GTMD Image Push to open the Application Settings page.
5. In the Parameter Settings section, you may configure the following:
– In Maximum motion frames, you may leave the default, 10 images, or enter a value between 1 and 30 images.
– In Motion enabled, you may leave the box filled in (the default), or you may uncheck the box to disable motion detection. Note that if you disable it, you will not receive any images from the camera in your Room Alert Account.
– In Motion guard time, you may leave the default, 60 seconds, or enter a value between 60 and 3600 seconds.
6. When you’re ready, select Save to temporarily save your changes.
7. Restart the GoToMyDevices Image Push application to commit the changes. Follow these steps to restart it:
– Select Applications from the navigation bar to the left to open the Application Packages page.
– Under Installed Applications, highlight GoToMyDevices Image Push by clicking on it once.
– Select Stop.
– Wait for the application’s status to change to Stopped. (Axis Video Motion Detection 3 should go to Idle status.)
– Then select Start to restart GoToMyDevices Image push.
– Make sure the application’s status changes to Running. (Axis Video Motion Detection 3 should change to Running status as well, unless you disabled motion detection—in that case, it will remain Idle.)
