How To Set Your Timezone In Your RoomAlert.com Account

There are two types of timezone settings in your Room Alert Account:

– the account timezone, which is reflected in every page of the account

– individual alert timezones, which are reflected in each alert’s Last/Latest Reading

If you edit your account timezone, you’ll also need to edit each existing alert’s timezone.

Edit Your Room Alert Account Timezone

The date & times that appear in your Room Alert Account are determined by the timezone you have set in your account, not the timezone set on the local Room Alert Monitor web interface. Note that each of your organization’s assigned users will need to configure their timezone separately.

Please follow these steps to edit your account timezone:

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com.

2. Select the user icon at the top right of the page.

3. Then select Profile Settings.

4. Here, you’ll find the Timezone drop-down menu.

5. Choose your timezone and select Save Changes.

6. You’ll now see the new timezone reflected throughout your account in the following places:

– your Dashboard Report or Map

– your Devices page, including CSV exports, and the Map tab

– your Alert History list

– your Reporting page, including CSV & PDF exports

Edit Your Alert Timezones

Each alert has its own timezone setting. After you set your account timezone, any new alerts that you create will automatically be set to the account timezone. If you had alerts saved before you changed your account timezone, you’ll need to edit these individually.

Please follow these steps to edit an alert timezone:

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com.

In order to edit an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the “Types of user roles” section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account.

2. Select Alerts from the navigation bar to the left.

3. Here, you’ll see a list of all of your configured alerts.

4. Click on the alert you wish to edit.

5. In the alert interface, select Options in the upper right of the screen.

6. In the Options page, you’ll find the Timezone drop-down menu.

7. Choose your timezone and select Save Changes.

8.  You’ll now see the new timezone reflected in the Last/Latest Reading in the following places:

– the alert interface in your Alerts page

– bookmarked alerts in your Dashboard

– any notifications you receive for this alert
