It’s impossible to watch the news and not be inundated with information about Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are working hard to test and verify our existing business continuity plans and prepare for a potential escalation in the coming weeks. Our guiding principle is that the health and well-being of our employees, customers, suppliers and partners are of primary importance.
As of today, AVTECH Software (AVTECH) is operating normally with no disruptions to our production or supply chains, even as we take additional steps to protect the health and well-being of our team. We now have three fully operational and independent distribution facilities, all capable of shipping products anywhere in the world. Our products are manufactured in the USA and have not been significantly impacted by overseas supply chain challenges. Further, we have significant inventory reserves built up and available to ship from all of our distribution facilities. We are well prepared to continue to ensure that Room Alert is available to help support your own business continuity needs at your facility.
To reduce or minimize the spread of the virus within our organization, we are instructing our team to follow the guidelines and best practices provided by the CDC which include hygiene, cleanliness, isolation when sick and social distancing recommendations. More details are on the CDC website and are updated regularly.
Additionally, all scheduled visits to our facility are being suspended until further notice, and members of our team will not be traveling for any planned meetings. This step is necessary to protect the health and well-being of our team, and to ensure that we can continue providing Room Alert products to our customers with minimum increased risk of disruption.
If you had a planned visit to our facility or were expecting a visit from us at your facility, a member of our team will be reaching out to you soon to convert the meeting to a video conference or conference call. In person meetings will be rescheduled at a later date following updated guidance and recommendations from the CDC, local government and healthcare providers.
