AVTECH Software Has Acquired OpenXTRA

AVTECH is so excited to announce that we have recently acquired OpenXTRA, a dedicated and successful authorized AVTECH reseller for nearly 20 years. Since the early 2000s, Room Alert environment monitoring has been one of the foundations of OpenXTRA’s environment, temperature, and power monitoring business. We have always regarded OpenXTRA as a true AVTECH partner. They are one of the largest resellers of Room Alert environment monitors, sensors, software and accessories worldwide. This recent acquisition dramatically strengthens Room Alert’s position throughout the UK and EU as well as allows us to better service our customers around the world. Our team is extremely proud to be expanding into the EU and continuing to build the successful infrastructure we already have in place.

In the near term, OPENXTRA will continue to operate as it has since 2003 in providing top-of-class monitoring solutions and guidance to their customers in the UK and beyond, with backend sales and support provided by AVTECH and its network of resellers within the UK. OPENXTRA customers can rest assured that they will continue to experience the same dedication and high level of service that they have been accustomed to.

AVTECH’s International Reach

AVTECH’s acquisition of OpenXTRA is hugely advantageous to existing and future customers in two main ways. Firstly, this new business relationship allows OpenXTRA customers to directly benefit from our 35 years of experience and industry expertise. Secondly, OpenXTRA customers will see enhanced Room Alert product availability thanks to AVTECH’s EU distribution center close by in Shannon, Ireland. Our Ireland distribution facility is where we fulfill many Room Alert orders that are outside of the USA. We are able to support hundreds of thousands of Room Alert users beyond North America, while offering customers faster shipping at lower costs. Thanks to our Ireland location, our products reach many countries in Europe in just 1-2 days using economy shipping services. Through increasing our capacity, improving our domestic supply chain, growing our facilities and investing in inventory, we are prepared to service all Room Alert users in the UK and EU markets.
