Scaling Innovation, Strengthening Trust and Building What’s Next for Room Alert
2025 was a year of monumental innovation and unprecedented growth for AVTECH. Our team remained steadfast in our commitment to protecting people, property and productivity, resulting in some of the most significant milestones in our nearly 40-year history. Since the official launch of our Room Alert MAX platform to being recognized as a global leader in technology innovation and more, we have much to celebrate.
As we turn the page to 2026, we want to take a moment to look back at the key events, awards and product launches that defined our 2025.
January
February
- Encouraged Preparedness: During Florida Severe Weather Awareness Week, we highlighted the critical importance of proactive monitoring in regions prone to hurricanes, flooding and extreme storms.
- Helped Ensure Heat Safety: Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) implemented new Heat Stress Standards for both indoor and outdoor workplaces, and Room Alert was proud to support these standards with proper heat safety monitoring solutions.
March
- Launched New Product Line: We officially launched Room Alert MAX, our latest innovation in advanced environment monitoring technology. With flexible connectivity options, wireless sensors and a simple setup, Room Alert MAX ensures all areas in your facility run smoothly without surprises.
- Attended Trade Show: Our trade show team attended National Facilities Management and Technology (NFMT) Conference in Baltimore, Maryland.
April
- Received Best Places to Work Award: AVTECH was yet again honored with a Best Places To Work 2025 Award by the Providence Business News (PBN).
- Celebrated Internship Awareness: We celebrated Internship Awareness Month, highlighting the success stories of our interns, many of whom have grown into leadership roles within the company.
May
- Promoted Air Safety: We participated in the EPA’s Air Quality Awareness Week, focusing on how the Room Alert Indoor Air Quality Monitor helps businesses “Breathe Better” by tracking particulate matter and airflow.
- Participated in Business Continuity: AVTECH recognized the importance of business continuity through being an active participant in Business Continuity & Resilience Awareness Week (BCAW+R).
June
- Recognized Industry Leadership: On Thursday, June 12th, 2025, at the prestigious PBN Best Places to Work awards ceremony, AVTECH secured third place for the third consecutive time!
- Award-Winning Product Excellence: Room Alert MAX won the 2025 MSP Today Product of the Year Award. This award highlights Room Alert MAX as a top solution for keeping an eye on your environment and serving the managed service provider community.
July
- Witnessed Heatwaves: July saw significant heatwaves globally, ranking as the third-warmest July on record for global surface temperatures, just behind July 2024 and 2023, with temperatures over 1°C above average, especially impacting Asia, Europe, the Arctic and the US.
- Category Leadership: As New Mexico formalized heat safety standards, Room Alert provides the category leadership and technology needed to automate compliance and protect workers across every job site. Our solution bridges the gap between new mandates and job site reality, ensuring employers meet NMED triggers without the burden of manual monitoring.
August
- Released Software Update: Room Alert MAX released native BACnet/IP integration, positioning it as the most enterprise-ready environmental monitoring solution in its class.
- Award-Winning Product Excellence: Room Alert MAX was named a 2025 Vision Awards Champion in the Smart Buildings category by FacilitiesNet Magazine.
September
- Launched New Bundles: Our team introduced specialized Heat Safety and Warehouse Monitor bundles to increase workplace safety and make the jobs of safety officers easier.
- Celebrated Preparedness: Throughout National Preparedness Month, we shared resources on disaster prevention and how environment monitoring acts as the “first responder” for facility emergencies.
October
- Attended Trade Show: Our trade show team returned to GITEX Global 2025 in the Dubai World Trade Center (a Room Alert customer).
- Recognized Industry Leadership: AVTECH was recognized by the PBN as the winner of their “Overall Excellence at a Small Manufacturer” award as part of their prestigious Manufacturing Awards program.
November
- Modernizing Infrastructure: Throughout Q4, we launched two strategic initiatives to drive the widespread deployment of Room Alert MAX, providing a high-value path for customers to secure their operations with our newest monitoring platform. These initiatives served as a catalyst for demand, accelerating the sales cycle for our Room Alert MAX hardware and influencing long-term pipeline growth.
- Mission-Critical Adoption: Global leaders including NASA, the NHL, Birkenstock and Colgate relied on Room Alert to safeguard their most vital assets and infrastructure.

Looking Ahead
While 2025 was a record-breaking year, it also laid the foundation for a more focused and intentional next chapter. In 2026, we are sharpening our growth strategy through new leadership appointments, accelerating how we listen to and learn from our customers, and investing in a more seamless, digital, end-to-end customer experience. These efforts will shape how we build, serve, and scale—setting the stage for meaningful advancements we look forward to sharing in the year ahead.
