AVTECH Nominated for Interise “Best Place to Work” Award

We have some exciting news to share with our customers and partners. AVTECH was announced as a finalist for the Interise “Best Place to Work” award for 2017!

This is a very prestigious honor for all of us at AVTECH. To be recognized among businesses nationwide as a best place to work speaks to our commitment to our team, and our goal of providing one of the best places to work in Rhode Island and the surrounding area.

The Interise annual StreetWise Summit Small Business awards recognize the outstanding achievement of small business owners who are redefining the relationship between company and community. AVTECH has been a strong supporter of our local Warren community, and the greater Rhode Island community as well. Since acquiring the Cutler Mill in 2008, AVTECH has helped to provide jobs to well over 100 people, in addition to bringing Tom’s Market to the mill which helped fill the need for a local grocery store that had been missing from the area for years.

Being nominated for the “Best Place to Work” award is particularly gratifying for us, as nominees have shown to have a strong work culture where the employees love to be. We’ve helped to provide that environment by offering full health and vision plans at no cost to our employees, matching 401k retirement plans, individual offices for every employee, and most of all, an encouraging and supportive workplace where all employees are encouraged to contribute based on their own individual skillsets.
