How To Discover AVTECH Devices With RoomAlert.com

You may find the IP address of your Room Alert 32S, 12S, 3S, 32E/W, 12E, 4E, 3E or 3W or your compatible Axis camera in your account at RoomAlert.com.

Legacy Devices

Legacy models do not push data to RoomAlert.com and so will not have their IP address displayed there.

These models include the Room Alert 26W, 24E, 11E and 7E and the TemPageR 4E and 3E.

To find your unit’s IP address in your Room Alert Account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com.

In order to access your device in Room Alert Account, you must log in as an admin, operator or viewer-level user. For more information, please see the “Types of user roles” section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account.

2. Select Devices in the navigation bar to the left.

3. Select your Room Alert Monitor from the Devices Inventory list.

4. In the upper left corner of your Room Alert’s Device Details page, you’ll see the Local IP field. This displays the IP address of the unit as of the last push RoomAlert.com received from it.

You may find Windows Command Prompt at the following path:

  • Windows 7 & 8
    Start--> All Programs--> Accessories--> Command Prompt
  • Windows 10
    Start--> All Apps--> Windows System--> Command Prompt

To run Windows Command Prompt as an administrator:

  • Windows 7 & 8
    Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
  • Windows 10
    Right-click on Command Prompt, select More and then select Run as administrator.

If you are using this client, you should configure the general SNMPv3 Credentials, but leave the Read / Write SNMPv3 Credentials section blank.

Room Alert Manager - Compatible Devices

The latest version of Room Alert Manager supports only the devices below.

It does not support any legacy Room Alert or TemPageR models.
