AVTECH Wins The Best Place To Work Award Again!

AVTECH was yet again recently honored with a Best Places To Work 2025 Award by the Providence Business News! Our team is extremely proud to have won many PBN awards over the years, however we take a special sense of pride in this particular achievement because it speaks to the tremendous effort we put into investing in our team so that we can create the best products and ensure success for our customers. It is a huge achievement for us to be acknowledged for creating a positive work environment, where our employees love to come to work every day. Here are some of the ways we do that!

Work That Is Gratifying

AVTECH is an incredible place to work because the work we do is highly rewarding. Our entire suite of Room Alert environment monitoring products, including our new Room Alert MAX platform, does more than help prevent 30% of all costly unplanned outages. It also helps businesses and facilities of all sizes and across all industries succeed. Any time our team has the opportunity to educate businesses on the importance of proactive & secure environment monitoring with Room Alert, we feel fulfilled. We are proud to help organizations protect their people, property, productivity and critical assets from a wide variety of environment-related threats.

Community Engagement

We take tremendous pride in our frequent community engagement. What makes our work even more rewarding is being able to reinvest money and resources back into our local community. AVTECH strongly believes in supporting local food banks, schools and universities, and nonprofit organizations. One organization that we love to support is 21 FrienDS, which is a non-profit family and support group that helps families with children with Down Syndrome. They host events and educational training for local teachers and other local groups. 

Hiring Interns & Student Workers

We are currently celebrating this month, April, as Internship Awareness Month. We believe in actively supporting the youth in our local community. This includes participating in events at local schools and providing valuable opportunities for young individuals to gain real-world experience. Our commitment to fostering talent is evident in the success of past participants, including our President & CEO Richard Grundy, who began his journey with us as an intern.
