How To Configure Actions To Repeat In Your RoomAlert.com Account (VIDEO) For organizations at the Professional level of RoomAlert.com or higher.

GoToMyDevices has been migrated to RoomAlert.com. Learn more in our article, GoToMyDevices Is Now RoomAlert.com.

If your organization’s Room Alert Account has been upgraded to the Professional level or higher, you can send reminder notifications about triggered alerts. Choose the interval for the notifications to repeat, and cap the number of repetitions if desired.

You may view a video demonstration of configuring individual actions to repeat and adding multiple actions to an alert below.

Step 1: Open your alert's interface.

Follow these steps to open the alert’s interface:

1. Log in to your account at RoomAlert.com.

In order to edit parts of an alert, you must log in as an admin-level or operator-level user. For more information, please see the “Types of user roles” section of our FAQ, How To Manage User Access To Your RoomAlert.com Account.

2. Select Alerts from the navigation bar to the left.

3. In your Alert List tab, you’ll see a list of all of your configured alerts. Click on an alert to open its interface.

4. Here, you can configure advanced features.

Step 2: Configure an action to repeat.

Follow these steps to repeat your action:

1. First, place your cursor over an action to pull up the delete, edit, and test icons.

2. Select the edit icon to open the Modify Action section.

3. Then select the Repeat Action check box.

4. In the every drop-down list, choose how frequently you’d like the action to repeat. In our example, we’ve selected 10 minutes.

5. (Optional) You may cap the number of times the action is performed by selecting the stop after X times check box.

– Enter a maximum number of reminders in the field. In our example, we’ve capped the repetitions at 3.

6. Then, select Save Changes.

7. In our example, when the alert is triggered, we will receive one “Alert Triggered” notification.

– We’ll then receive an “Alert Ongoing” reminder every 10 minutes, which will stop after 3 times.

– If a user in our account acknowledges the alert, the notifications will stop. For more information, please see How To Acknowledge Triggered Alerts In Your RoomAlert.com Account.
