You may install or update the Device Discovery utility by following these steps:
1. Download the Device Discovery installer from your account at RoomAlert.com.
– This FAQ shows you how: How to Download Firmware and Software from Your RoomAlert.com Account.
2. Once the download completes, click on the AVTECHDiscovery-x.x.x-windows-installer.exe file to start the installer.
– You must run the installer as an administrator in order for it to properly install.
– Please note that administrator rights are also required to run the utility.
3. When the User Account Control dialog box appears, select Yes.
4. Then follow the on-screen prompts, which will guide you through the installation.
5. After the installation completes, you may find the Device Discovery utility in your Windows system (typically through the default path, C:\Program Files\AVTECH Device Discovery Utility).

If you are using this client, you should configure the general SNMPv3 Credentials, but leave the Read / Write SNMPv3 Credentials section blank.
