September 2024 marks a significant milestone for AVTECH as we proudly celebrate the sixth anniversary of our first international distribution facility in Shannon, Ireland. This strategic expansion has played a crucial role in our growth, enabling us to better serve our global customer base and solidify our position as a leader in environment monitoring and business continuity solutions.

Over the past six years, our Shannon facility has evolved into more than just a distribution hub; it has become a key component of our global operations, supporting customers across Europe, the Middle East, the Gulf region, most locations in Africa, and parts of Southeast Asia. In honor of reaching our six-year milestone, we are excited to reflect on the hard work and planning that led us to this point and to look ahead to the future of AVTECH’s ever-expanding international presence.

Our decision to establish an international distribution facility in Shannon was driven by the need to better serve our growing international customer base. As demand for our Room Alert environment monitoring products continued to strengthen, it became clear that an international distribution center was essential for meeting customer needs more efficiently and effectively.

Shannon, Ireland was identified as the ideal location for our first international distribution facility due to its strategic position within Europe, its strong infrastructure and its access to key transportation routes. Additionally, Ireland’s business-friendly environment and skilled workforce made it an attractive destination for this critical expansion.

The opening of the Shannon facility in September 2018 marked a new chapter in AVTECH’s history. This facility allows us to reduce shipping times, lower costs for our international customers and provide faster support, all while maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability that our customers expect.

Since its inception, the Shannon facility has had a profound impact on AVTECH’s global operations.
