Our last Product Spotlight took an in-depth look at our flagship model, the Room Alert 32E. The Room Alert 32E offers a full suite of advanced monitoring for data centers, cold storage, medical facilities, and so much more. To help augment those larger customers who require wireless facility monitoring, we offer the Room Alert 32W – the very top of the line in remote facility monitors.
The Room Alert 32W offers the most amount of sensor inputs out of all of our models (when combined both wired and wireless sensors), offers advanced data logging and reporting, cloud-based monitoring and alerting, and just like the Room Alert 32E fits in a single 1U rack space for easy mounting.
The biggest difference between models is that the Room Alert 32W allows our customers to drastically increase their total sensor counts – the addition of wireless sensors adds on another forty sensor inputs! This is an incredible advantage for larger facilities that have more areas and zones where they need enhanced monitoring.
As we noted previously, both Room Alert 32 models share a number of features. They include:
As you can see, both Room Alert 32E and Room Alert 32W models offer advanced monitoring for any number of situations, or types of facilities. This makes this Room Alert the model of choice for companies that require environment monitoring across temperature, humidity, flood, power, smoke and so much more.
With all of those built in features and capabilities, the Room Alert 32E is a great option for complete remote environment monitoring. But the Room Alert 32W expands on all of those enterprise-class features even more by offering wireless sensor capacity as well. For customers that need wireless facility monitoring, the Room Alert 32W is the perfect solution.
AVTECH offers two wireless sensors, the WiSH and the WiSPR, both of which connect back to the 32W, and can monitor the environment up to 250 feet away from Room Alert. Both wireless sensors contain a digital temperature sensor. Both wireless sensors can also have two digital sensors attached to them, which can monitor the environment up to 100 feet away. This increases the total range from the Room Alert from 100 feet to 350 feet for each wirelessly connected digital sensor.
Each WiSH and WiSPR wireless sensor can also have a single switch sensor connected to it. This allows each sensor to monitor power, smoke, room entry, air flow, and more up to 900 feet away.
By pairing up a Room Alert 32W with WiSH or WiSPR sensors, each Room Alert’s monitoring capability can be increased by up to 40 more sensors. This is an incredible advantage for a location such as a storage warehouse, or a large food distribution facility. Our wireless sensors can be distributed throughout the facility, especially to those hard to reach or far-flung locations, to offer a truly comprehensive overview of the entire facility’s environment.
All of our Room Alerts can be accessed in three ways, and the Room Alert 32W is no exception. The Room Alert 32W can be accessed locally through a web browser, through our Device ManageR software installed on a local computer, or online through our GoToMyDevices cloud platform.
Since GoToMyDevices is cloud-based, it provides the most flexibility since it allows users to access their alerts, reports, and logs from anywhere at any time. This is especially beneficial for customers with multiple employees that need access to their cloud-based temperature and environment monitoring. Those customers can easily create multiple employee accounts so they can all keep track of their alerts, environment trends, and more through GoToMyDevices.
Customers with larger facilities that have small or out of the way location that need wireless facility monitoring will benefit greatly from the Room Alert 32W. The sheer amount of wireless and wired sensors that the Room Alert 32W can monitor truly make it a top of class offering. Combine that sensor capacity with GoToMyDevices, and the Room Alert can protect any size of facility, and all of your critical assets. Don’t wait until it’s too late! Remember, ‘Proactive Monitoring’ is always better than ‘Disaster Recovery’.
