Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi End-Of-Life Announcement

AVTECH is announcing that the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi monitor has reached End-of-Life, effective February 1st, 2023.

Since its initial release back in 2015, the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi has provided an economical Wi-Fi-enabled environment monitoring solution for temperature, plus up to 2 more environment conditions. Over the past 8 years, our team’s capabilities have skyrocketed and we’re now able to offer more advanced environment monitoring products that have an increased emphasis on cybersecurity and business resilience in the form of our Room Alert PRO Line. The Room Alert 3S is the most comparable monitor in the PRO Line to the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi, due to its compact size for applications where space is at a premium. The Room Alert 3S also offers several additional security features not found in the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi such as 

• HTTPS/SSL web interface   
• SSL/TLS email notifications   
• SNMP v1, 2c and 3   
• 2048-bit encryption 
• Secure & Authenticated firmware updates  

Our Room Alert users have found immense success with the Room Alert 3S, it even received a 2022 INTERNET TELEPHONY Product of the Year Award.  

In light of this announcement, we do pledge to continue to provide updated firmware for the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi for at least one year after the monitor is no longer sold. We will also continue to support all installed Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi monitors indefinitely. Our Technical Support team is still happy to provide support and assistance to your facilities to ensure installed Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi monitors continue to work at the highest level.  

AVTECH will continue to support the Room Alert 3 Wi-Fi indefinitely to help all customers maintain their uptime and productivity, while decreasing their environment-related downtime.  

We always continue to stand by all of our Room Alert products, even after they have been End-of-Life.
