Room Alert 3E End-Of-Life Announcement

AVTECH is announcing that the Room Alert 3E monitor has reached End-of-Life, effective September 15th, 2023 or earlier if we run out of available inventory.

Since its initial release in 2012, the Room Alert 3E has been AVTECH’s most economical environment monitor with the smallest footprint. The Room Alert 3E is one of our most popular solutions due to its compact size, which makes it ideal for monitoring smaller spaces or monitoring in hard to reach areas. The Room Alert 3E features the ability to monitor temperature, plus up to 2 more environment conditions of your choice. Over the past 11 years, technology has advanced quite a bit and we’re now able to offer environment monitoring products that have an increased emphasis on Cybersecurity, Business Continuity Planning, Business Resilience and Disaster Preparedness.  

Since that time, we’ve developed our advanced and secure Room Alert PRO line, which includes the Room Alert 32S, Room Alert 12S/SR and Room Alert 3S. This line of monitors provides secure connections, higher sensor capacity, better data protection and much more. We specifically recommend the Room Alert 3S as a direct replacement for the Room Alert 3E thanks to its advanced data security features and improved processing performance.  

In light of this announcement, we do pledge to continue to provide updated firmware for the Room Alert 3E for at least one year after the monitor is no longer sold. We will also continue to support all installed Room Alert 3E monitors indefinitely. Our Technical Support team is still happy to provide support and assistance to your facilities to ensure installed Room Alert 3E monitors continue to work at the highest level.

AVTECH will continue to support the Room Alert 3E indefinitely to help all customers maintain their uptime and productivity, while preventing costly unplanned outages.
