In 2020, we launched our Room Alert PRO line of monitors which offers our highest capacity & highest performance environment monitoring ever. We launched this line with certain businesses and industries in mind such as banks, higher education institutions, government, military and telecom facilities. Depending on the specifics of what your office building needs, you may require a large capacity monitor such as the Room Alert 32S or a more compact option such as the Room Alert 3E.

Room Alert Sensors

Once you have the proper Room Alert monitors for your application, you can then populate it with the appropriate sensors to increase productivity & uptime. Our Room Alert sensors easily plug into our Room Alert monitors to oversee various environment conditions. 

• Our patented Digital Active Power Sensor w/Temperature works by monitoring active power status as well as temperature. This is helpful in preventing downtime due to temperature and power loss. If your office building has a data center then you can benefit greatly from temperature & power monitoring. One of the biggest environmental threats to data center downtime is high temperature and humidity, as well as power loss. For example, this sensor will monitor the temperature range in your data center so you can proactively prevent high temperatures that can lead to server failure, data loss and equipment failure.
• Our Digital Temperature & Humidity sensor is one of our most popular sensors due to its ability to accurately monitor for 4 different environment conditions. This sensor monitors temperature, humidity, heat index and dew point which means it proactively prevents 50% of all environment-related problems. For example, if you’re monitoring the temperature and humidity in your office space, you can ensure the environmental conditions are suitable for employee cognition & productivity, customer comfort and overall safety. Within a data center, humidity monitoring is important to prevent high humidity from leading to condensation, mold & mildew growth and to prevent low humidity from leading to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Electrostatic discharge left unaddressed, can generate so much heat that extremely small plastic parts in sensitive electronic devices can melt.
• Our Room Entry sensor improves building security by monitoring whenever doors, windows, cabinets, safes, etc are opened and closed. For example, you can install the Room Entry sensor to filing cabinets in your Human Resources Department that contain confidential employee paperwork and other PII (Personally Identifiable Information). This allows you to see timestamps of when these records are being accessed to ensure they’re authorized.

For example, you can have sensitive equipment in a data center or other space within your office building. Our Room Alert services link to Room Alert Account. This one-of-a-kind online portal is where users can register their Room Alert monitors and receive additional benefits to improve their environment monitoring. Room Alert Account offers a plethora of information where users can set up alerts on their sensors. This means a user can tell their Room Alert Account to text them if their Flood sensor detects the presence of water/liquid in the office data center. Reporting in Room Alert Account can show users a customizable graph of their sensor data and history. Users can also in their account see a list of their registered devices, Room Alert Link, our patented Monitor360 technology, advanced alerting and reporting options and so much more. Room Alert Account helps your office’s facility management team stay up to date on accurate information regarding the environmental conditions. 

For example, say you want to use your Room Alert Account to increase productivity & uptime in your office. You can set up a map of all your registered devices so, at any given time, you can see the exact location of the Room Alert monitors in your building. You can set up, customize and view reports that graph your sensor data of temperature in your data centers. You can also set up advanced alerts. Alerting sets a threshold for your environment conditions. They can be customized with quiet times, multiple recipients, multiple actions and so much more. Say there is a Room Entry sensor mounted to the door that leads into your office’s data center. You can set up a custom alert with specific criteria. You can tell your Room Alert Account to notify you if the door is open for more than 5 minutes and the door is open between the hours of 7 pm and 7 am. If that situation does arise, you can set it to text or email the IT manager. By setting these proactive Business Continuity measures, you’re taking preventative steps to minimize costly & irreversible damages.

Room Alert Power Control

Our Power Control & Management products work in addition to our Room Alert monitors & sensors to provide automatic corrective action. The iBoot IO can toggle nearly any electronic device on/off in response to conditions your Room Alert monitor triggers an alert on. For example, a high heat alert set up in your data center can trigger a backup HVAC unit to turn on. Likewise, a water leak alert can trigger a sump pump to engage even before you or your staff arrive onsite to take action. The iBoot G2S can easily power cycle devices, especially those in remote or unmanned locations with the iBoot G2S to increase availability and reliability. 

These products are especially useful for your office’s facility management team for tackling problems remotely so downtime is minimized due to travel time or other pandemic-related challenges.

Room Alert Mobile UV System

In 2020, we launched the Room Alert Mobile UV System. Unlike our traditional Room Alert products which serve to prevent environment-related downtime, the Room Alert Mobile UV System serves to prevent health & safety-related downtime. We learned due to the COVID-19 pandemic the value of routine sanitation and disinfection. Our Room Alert Mobile UV System works by inactivating viruses and killing bacteria found in the air and on surfaces.
